Carbon Farming Advice Rebate Program
The Carbon Farming Advice Rebate provided rebates up to $10,000 to help cover the costs of carbon farming advice received from a Land Restoration Fund Approved Adviser.

Program information
The Carbon Farming Advice Rebate has closed after reaching its funding capacity. No further applications for the rebate will be accepted. Please be aware that this does not affect applicants who have already received an approval letter from QRIDA confirming your eligibility to claim a rebate.
The Carbon Farming Advice Rebate Program provided a rebate to offset the cost of obtaining advice about undertaking carbon farming projects by land holders, or organisations seeking advice on their behalf, through the Land Restoration Fund.

An applicant may only receive one rebate per entity (based on ABN) for advice under the program.
Yes. To claim a rebate, the advice must be provided by an approved adviser listed on the Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority’s (QRIDA) website when your claim is submitted.
Questions concerning your personal taxation circumstances should be directed to your taxation advisor or the Australian Taxation Office on 13 72 86.
Yes. Eligible organisations seeking advice on behalf of land holders may be eligible for a rebate. Organisations seeking to apply on this basis must obtain the written consent of the land holder.
Yes. The advice you receive must come from at least one approved adviser listed on QRIDA’s website.
No. The program has been structured and criteria has been established to assess the skills, qualification and experience of individuals to give advice and confirm them as approved advisors, not a company or organisation.

If you are registered for GST, the rebate will be calculated on the invoice amount excluding GST. You may be eligible to claim the GST component as part of your normal Business Activity Statement (BAS) submissions.
If you are not registered for GST, the assistance will be calculated on the invoice amount including GST.
