  • Your project should commence within 90 days and should be completed, with approved funding drawn within six months from entering into a letter of offer with QRIDA. If your Farm Business Resilience Plan outlines projects over a longer duration, these should be the subject of another application for grant funding after completion of the current project.

  • 30 business days.

  • There is no prescribed timeframe and mediation may involve one or more meetings. The mediator can provide more specific information as it generally depends on what is agreed by the parties to mediation.

  • The farmer is allowed 20 business days after the day the Enforcement Action Notice is served on the farmer. If the farmer does not ask for mediation within this time, the mortgagee may apply for an exemption certificate to proceed with enforcement action under the farm mortgage.

  • 10 business days.

  • As stated in the guidelines, EOI outcomes will be advised and successful submissions will receive an invitation to submit a full application including an application pack on 5 April 2024.

  • The process is to be completed within eight weeks from approval of assistance. This may be subject to the availability of the parties involved and information. Where circumstances arise that warrant an extension, the Farm Debt Restructure Office must be notified to formalise a deferral to a later date.

  • This depends on your licence and the symbols attached to your licence. Please refer to the below table for a summary of what you can be entitled to.

  • You require an approved unit for each primary and each powered tender boat you are using in your commercial fishing operation. Please refer to the Fisheries (General) Regulation 2019 for further details. 

  • The assistance available is up to 50 per cent of the costs associated with acquiring a new wheelchair accessible taxi up to a maximum of $45,000.

  • Up to $300 of the cost of category A units and $750 of category B units. 

  • Applications will be assessed on a competitive basis in each stream against the following criteria:

    1. Public benefit
    2. Co-contribution and value for money
    3. Capability and capacity
    4. Project attributes.

  • Applications will be assessed on a competitive basis against the following criteria:

    1. Compliance with applicant and project eligibility criteria
    2. The extent of the project creating employment related to primary production
    3. The value for money and significant economic benefit generated by a project
    4. The prospect of project success and long-term viability
    5. The project’s location

  • On approval of an application, QRIDA will deposit funding into the bank account nominated in your application.

  • If your application is successful, you may choose for QRIDA to pay the invoice directly to the service providers, up to the approved amount, or for QRIDA to reimburse funds to your nominated bank account if you have already paid invoices.

  • Fishers who have sustained direct damage to fishing equipment and vessels as a result of the disaster may be eligible for assistance. Assistance is not however available to compensate for loss of income due to inability to fish because of the event.

    If your enterprise has not experienced direct damage but has suffered a significant loss of income as a result of the disaster, you may be eligible to apply for an Extraordinary Bushfire Assistance Loan of up to $500,000.

  • Applications must be submitted in the names of all parties to licences, operating arrangements and authorised booking entities. 

    In applying, each party needs to sign a payment instruction form, nominating one bank account where all approved assistance will be deposited. 

  • Yes, you may be eligible to receive financial assistance in more than one category. 

    Please refer to the COVID-19 Taxi and Limousine Industry Assistance Scheme Guidelines for full details of eligibility requirements for each category. 

  • As a Pioneer Valley Water customer, you are not issued an invoice directly by Sunwater. However, Pioneer Valley Water bills include charges from Sunwater which will be eligible for the rebate.

  • The 2019-20 quarter three data reports are used to assess eligibility. Authorised booking entities are required to have provided their reports on, or before 16 June 2020. 

    If you have not yet submitted your report, you will only be eligible for the payment if TMR accepts the information provided in a late submission, including any further supporting evidence that may be requested. As a first step you will need to send it to TMR at PT_Data_Reporting@tmr.qld.gov.au 

  • If two operators equally share the cost of operating the licence under a written agreement, they could each be eligible. 

    In this case, the payment would be divided equally between the two parties. Each party would need to apply separately and provide evidence to demonstrate their eligibility. 

  • Yes, any change to the ABN which you use in operating your business will impact upon your loan agreement. Should you be considering a change to your ABN, please contact your Portfolio Manager on jobsupportloan@qrida.qld.gov.au to discuss prior to making any changes.

  • Yes, any change to your business structure or business name needs to be discussed with QRIDA before you make any decisions or changes. Please contact QRIDA on jobsupportloan@qrida.qld.gov.au to discuss your proposal with your Portfolio Manager.

  • No, if you cease to operate the business that received the COVID-19 Jobs Support Loan, you are unable to maintain your loan. Please contact QRIDA to discuss your situation and proposal before you make any decisions. Email your Portfolio Manager on jobsupportloan@qrida.qld.gov.au.
