7 April 2016: Talk with QRAA at Innisfail Field Day

7 April 2016

Local producers attending the Innisfail Field Day are encouraged to meet with QRAA’s Client Liaison Officer for the Far North and Gulf region of Queensland, Sam Spina, and discuss the advantages of partnering with QRAA.

The Field Day, to be held on Thursday 14 April, will provide an excellent opportunity for producers to learn firsthand how QRAA’s low interest First Start and Sustainability loans can help them make a start in farming, implement biosecurity projects and invest in productivity enhancements.

"QRAA have been involved with the Innisfail Field Days since inception and I am looking forward to showcasing QRAA’s low interest loans to producers in my local region," Sam said.

"QRAA offers a range of financial assistance programs for Queensland’s primary producers. Our low interest loans can help producers improve on the success of their operations, assist in bringing about farm succession, expand their business or assist with drought recovery,” he said.

QRAA’s loans currently have interest rates as low as 2.71 per cent and, with no set up fees, no exit fees, no hidden costs and joint lending with your bank available, they are an attractive option for producers looking to improve their farming business.

Sam says many North Queensland producers are already experiencing the benefits that the low interest loans provide.

“This financial year alone, QRAA has provided almost $6 million to producers in the North Queensland region. This is a significant financial investment in the region and a strong indicator of how QRAA is providing lasting benefits for farm businesses in North Queensland,” he said.

Producers are urged to not self-assess their own eligibility for the range of loans available, but instead visit the Innisfail Field Day to talk to Sam about their individual situation and eligibility requirements.

"I will be available to discuss loan requirements, terms and conditions and the application process at the Field Day or, if they prefer, producers can make an appointment with me on-farm at a time that suits them," Sam said.
