Category B assistance has been activated for primary producers, small businesses and non-profit organisations affected by Severe Tropical Cyclone Debbie and associated rainfall and flooding, 28 March - 6 April 2017. View the links below for information on available assistance.

Please note that primary producers, small businesses and non-profit organisations can only receive assistance under the Natural Disaster Assistance Scheme OR the Natural Disaster Assistance (Essential Working Capital) Scheme for an eligible disaster - not both.

Natural Disaster Assistance

Primary producers directly affected by Central Coast Queensland Severe Weather 16 - 19 October 2017 may be eligible for low interest loans up to $250,000. Primary producers and small businesses directly affected by Severe Tropical Cyclone Debbie and associated rainfall and flooding may be eligible for low interest loans up to $250,000. Non-profit organisations directly affected may be eligible for a loan and grant package up to $105,000.

Natural Disaster Assistance (Essential Working Capital)

Primary producers which have suffered a significant loss of income as a result of Central Coast Queensland Severe Weather 16 - 19 October 2017 may be eligible for low interest loans up to $100,000. Primary producers, small businesses and non-profit organisations which have suffered a significant loss of income as a result of Severe Tropical Cyclone Debbie and associated rainfall and flooding (such as through loss of electricity, water or road access for extended periods) may be eligible for low interest loans up to $100,000.
