Disaster Assistance

Should you be affected by a disaster such as floods, cyclones, storms or bushfires, financial assistance may be available to primary producers, small businesses and non-profit organisations from Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority.

Disaster Assistance Loans - Primary producer

Low interest loans up to $250,000 for primary producers directly affected by Central Queensland Bushfires, 30 November - 6 December 2018, Wide Bay-Burnett Severe Storms, 11 – 14 October 2018 and Severe Tropical Cyclone Debbie and associated rainfall and flooding are available. Low interest loans up to $250,000 for primary producers directly affected by Severe Tropical Cyclone Nora and Associated Flooding 24 – 29 March 2018, North Queensland Flooding 6 – 10 March 2018, North and North West Queensland Low and Associated Rainfall and Flooding, 24 February – 8 March 2018, Central Coast Queensland Severe Weather October 2017 or Severe Tropical Cyclone Debbie and associated rainfall and flooding are available.

Disaster Assistance Loans - Small business

Low interest loans up to $250,000 are now available for small businesses directly affected by Central Queensland Bushfires, 22 November – 6 December 2018, Severe Tropical Cyclone Debbie and associated rainfall and flooding, North Queensland Flooding, 6 – 10 March 2018 and Severe Tropical Cyclone Nora and Associated Flooding, 24 – 29 March 2018.

Disaster Assistance Loans - Non-profit organisation

A low interest loan of up to $100,000 is available for non-profit organisations directly affected by Severe Tropical Cyclone Debbie and associated rainfall and flooding.
