Organisational structure

The structure of the organisation facilitates working relationships between its various units to provide a greater focus on customer service outcomes.

Board of Directors
Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA) is governed by a Board of Directors who are formally accountable to the Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries, the Honourable Mark Furner MP. Our board's principal function is to ensure QRIDA's goals and strategic directions are developed, implemented and managed.

Chief Executive Officer
QRIDA Chief Executive Officer, Mr Cameron MacMillan, reports to the QRIDA Board and manages QRIDA from the Brisbane office, where there are three departments which provide a high level of service to stakeholders, customers, industry associations, employees and the wider community.

Business units
QRIDA consists of four departments:

  • Office of the Chief Executive Officer provides high-level executive support to the Board of Directors and manages the strategic link between the Minister's Office and QRIDA.
  • Program Strategy and Delivery comprises the processing of application assessments and decision making, loan account management and loan securities.
  • Corporate Capability and Programs incorporates finance, human resource services, information and communications technology, corporate governance and performance, performance and reporting, and farm debt mediation and the farm debt restructure office
  • Business Development and Engagement encompasses business development and policy team, our client relations unit including the nine regionally based team members, as well as marketing, communications and media relations.
